Q: How many people can you hunt?
Each guide can hunt up to 6. If you party is over 6 “No Problem” You will have more than one guide.
Q: What are the seasons?
We will be hunting starting March 1 thru the third or fourth week in April.
Q: When is the best time to come?
We are always following the migration, so pick the days that work for you!
Q: How do I get a license and how much?

Q: What do I need to bring?
WADERS are always suggested!!! Other than that just you’re normal duck hunting stuff.
Camera, shells, duck or goose calls and warm waterproof clothing!
Q: What shells should I bring?
We use 3.5 # 2-3 OR 3” BB-1
Q: What Hotel should I stay at?
We will have lodging info for you when you book your hunt. We will be in one of three areas and following the birds and always have a block of hotel rooms set aside for our clients!!
Q: Do you rent guns?
No we do not rent guns.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
We welcome you to bring your trained retriever on your hunt, provided we know in advance that the dog will accompany you. For the safety of all hunters and the safety of your dog, all dogs must be steady to shot and be controlled 100% of the time. Unmanageable dogs will be immediately kenneled for the remainder of the hunt. Single hunters may not bring a dog if they are hunting with other hunters/groups.

Missouri hunts - Kansas City
South Dakota - Sioux Falls
North Dakota – Fargo or Bismarck
Q: What is the weather?
We hope it is a little cold and windy to make the birds move!!
But March it will be cold in the AM. and 30-60 by afternoon By April it is 40-70.
Q: What days do you hunt?
We hunt every day BUT SUNDAY.
Q: Do you combine parties?
Yes and no. If you have less than 6 hunters we will combine two smaller parties. We welcome single hunters and we try to put a party together most every week for them.
Q: Can we use our calls?
YES bring your calls!!
Q: Do the guides shoot?
Again YES and NO. They are going to insure all cripples are dispatched ASAP!
Other than cripples we usually do not but our guide Mike Guard is an AA sporting clays shooter and will help on some tips if asked!!
Q: Tipping? How Much?
The norm is $25-50 per hunter per day. Our guides spend days getting ready before the season and hours getting ready before your hunt!
