SEA SUCKS AND DIVER DUCK HUNTING IN MARYLAND
Black Duck Outfitters Maryland Sea Duck hunts are in the famous Chesapeake Bay. We will be hunting from either 19-24 foot custom duck boats or out of layout boats. The types of sea ducks and diver ducks that we will be hunting are:

White Wing Scoter
Long Tail Duck “Old Squaw”
Bufflehead
Blue Bill
The action is fast as the ducks are moving up and down the bay just inches above the water! Your sea duck hunting guides will be using” long line rigs” with LOTS of sea duck decoys. We are shooting DECOYING birds. Not the 50 yard shot at passing flocks! Bring lots of shells as sea duck hunting will test you shooting ability!! Fast Birds and the boat moving up and down with the waves equals a fun time!!
Black Duck Outfitters custom duck boats can hunt up to 6 hunters VERY comfortably. All our Maryland sea duck hunting guides are 100% licensed USCG captains. They know the bay and know when it is safe or not. Conditions can change FAST on the water. Your guides will keep an eye out on the weather while you hunt the ducks!!

Youth hunters MUST have a hunters safety card!
What's included: Boats, Decoys, Blinds, Professional Diver Duck Guide, We meet at the boat ramp between 5:30 and 6:00 am and have you back to the ramp by noon
You'll need:
- Maryland Hunting License w/Stamps, 3 day waterfowl license available
- Shells, we use number 3 or 4 in steel shot or equivalent
- Gun, we do not loan guns-NO EXCEPTIONS
- Appropriate Clothing for the Weather, a change of clothes is a good idea

Weather:
We can't guarantee weather or when the birds will fly, some things you just can't control. For water hunts, we reserve the right to reschedule or may offer you a field hunt option if the water is at a dangerous level due to heavy rain or winds. Your safety and the safety of our guides is our primary concern.
Deposits:
Deposits of 50% due at booking. Balance due when you arrive for your hunt. Due to limited availability and the advanced planning needed to ensure a quality trip, we are unable to refund any payments. We will be happy to Reschedule and answer any questions regarding this policy.
