Carstens offers five models to choose from.  Whether you're in the market for a layout boat, an upright blind boat, or motorized boat, we have the waterfowl craft for you.

Designed for stability and maneuverability.  If you are using a motor on the Bluebill or Canvasback models, or using paddles on our other models, you'll glide easily through the water to get to your blind, set out decoys or make a retrieve.

Hand-crafted for quality and strength.  Waterfowling calls for a truly great duck boat like Carstens.  Our quality starts with skilled craftsmen molding fiberglass strands with high tensile strength polyester resin.  Foam is added to the bulk heads for positive flotation.  Oar locks and carrying handles are provided.  Stabilization poles are included on the Mallard and Pintail models.  All duck boats are finished with a gelcoat in the Carstens unique camo design.

The Chesapeake’s Rear Flotation Pods allow for smooth navigation in as little as six inches of water. Plus, a heavy-duty rear transom is suited for both outboard and mud motors (50 hp). Large, slip-resistant bow and stern platforms create exceptional access, and a secure gun locker provides ample storage. The Chesapeake comes standard with two fold-down swivel seats and bow storage skirt.
