 Join Black Duck Outfitters Pro-Staff for a combo Duck, speklebelly and snow goose hunt at the Backwoods Duck Club and Lodge. You will be hunting both morning and evening hunts. Great way to enjoy your waterfowl season with some FANTASTIC southern hospitality and GREAT duck and goose hunting!! We will be hunting all duck season for ducks, specs, and snows. Then for 3 weeks in February, after the duck and speck season ends January 30th, we will be hunting the spring conservation season for just snows.
Arkansas is known for its rice and ducks. Don’t let the secret out, it has some of the best spec and snow goose hunting in the US! Black Duck Outfitters has teamed up with excellent licensed Arkansas guides and two of the best lodges in Arkansas to get in on the late season goose hunting. .The lodges are located just outside of Stuttgart.
Season and Hunting Dates:
We will be hunting all of the Arkansas Duck Season from the end of November till the end of January. Then it is ALL snow goose hunting with e-callers, unplugged guns, and NO LIMITS till the middle of February. Check with us for the exact dates every year.
The Hunts:
The huge RICE fields are ours and the waterfowl’s main targets. Large decoy spreads with laydown, field or pit blinds will be used. You will be hunting from blinds located in privately owned, green flooded timber, soybean fields, and rice fields.
Electronic callers will be used when the conservation season starts the first week in February. The lodge has hundreds of thousand of acres leased every year and once the conservation season starts and we have NO LIMIT on snows!!
This is not your average and typical spring snow goose hunt where you are paying an outfitter $500-$600 to just hunt for 3 days. Then you are on your own to spend more for food and lodging! You are staying in a maybe OK hotel, eating at maybe a good restaurant or fast food place in an unfamiliar town!!
Accommodations:
The Backwoods duck club & Lodge and Boondocks Lodge are both Fantastic lodges to stage our hunts from. The food, lodging and atmosphere are exactly what you would think of with GREAT southern cooking and hospitality! The lodge has lots of room to spread out and relax after a long days hunt. Great food, great people and a great hunt, that is what it is all about!!
Weather:
Bring at least hip boots! It is still cold and wet that time of year. Temps are from the 20’s to 50 degrees. We might get snow!! Check with us before your hunt.
Location:
The Backwoods Duck Club & Lodge is tucked away in the northeast corner of the world famous Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area and is located in Wabbaseka, Arkansas..
The Boondocks lodge is in St. Charles Arkansas and is surrounded by the White River Refuge

For our 3 day, five hunts, combo duck and goose package is only $1275.00 You will hunt three (3) morning hunts and two evening hunts. It includes 3 night lodging and ALL you food and guides.
For our spring conservation season 3 day, five hunts, snow goose package is only $750.00.

Deposits:
